Canzine 09
I went to Canzine at the Gladstone Hotel this year with my friend, Adam. The other two times I’ve gone alone so it was a bit of a different experience (following each other around and trying to find each other in the packed building). I always feel totally awkward and guilty at these things. Like I feel like all the sellers are looking at me and I feel bad when I quickly scan the table and proceed to ignore them completely cos I’m not interested or because I don’t buy their stuff. I was especially picky this time about what sort of zines I was looking for cos I was trying not to blow a ridiculous amount of money this time. I looked for cute and funny ones and those are the ones that I bought. Let me show you.

Ginette Lapalme – I love everything she does. Some of it is really trippy but everything is always awesome.

Myra Phan – The teeniest of zines. The flowery rectangle at the top right is actually a little bound book.

Great post, Moe! I need to contact the Phantastic to grab a copy of their zines (if they still got copies).
